Five stars from someone who bought a condominium tells you very little about how an agent handles an acreage with a water licence. Look for the reviews that describe the situation, not only the outcome.
Look for detail and for dates. A review that names the village, the property type and what went wrong along the way is worth ten that say great to work with. Recent reviews carry more weight too, because markets and staff both change.
Read the middling ones. A three star review usually explains something the five star reviews skip over, and an agent who answers it well tells you more about the service than the praise ever will.
