The map is the fastest way to rule places out. Draw a boundary, see what falls inside it, and if the count is still high the filters below cut it further by type, by price or by what the property sits on.
A map shows you where things are. It does not tell you what a twenty minute drive to a hospital feels like in February, or which of two similar streets holds its value. That part is not on the pin.
