Start by asking each agent how many homes they have sold in and around South Nanaimo, and ask to see the actual sales. An agent who knows the difference between a 1960s home near Harewood and a newer townhome off Ninth Street will price your home more accurately than one relying on a city wide average.
Next, ask how they will market your home. Professional photography, a floor plan, video, targeted online ads and a clear plan for showings should be standard. Ask how they will report back to you, how often, and what they will do if the home has not sold in the first few weeks.
