Saxe Point Real Estate Market
Open ocean at the end of the street, and the top of the township.Saxe Point real estate market values sit at the top of Esquimalt, in the corner where the township meets the open water rather than the harbour.
Saxe Point Real Estate Market Overview
Saxe Point sits at the south west corner of Esquimalt, built around the park of the same name. The shoreline here faces the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains beyond, which is a very different outlook from the harbour side.
The housing runs from modest post war homes a few streets back to substantial properties on the water. What holds the values together is the outlook and the park, which is one of the better pieces of public shoreline in the region.
Which way the house faces is worth more than its size. A property angled at the Olympics and one turned away from them can be the same building on the same street at very different money.

- Why it matters. A handful of sales a month, one of which may be worth several of the others. Take the price average lightly and give more weight to how long things last.
- Ask yourself. Are properties here moving or lingering?

Questions About These Numbers
Yes, and near the water it is worth doing. Frontage here appears infrequently.
A shoreline park with trails, open lawn and views across the strait. It is one of the better public waterfronts in the region.
It faces the Strait of Juan de Fuca rather than the harbour, which means bigger views and more weather than the sheltered side.
A great deal, and the gap has grown over time. The individual sales are the only reliable guide.
Averages fail where the tiers are this steep. What has sold on your own stretch and exactly what you can see are what decide it. I don't guess your home's value. I prove it using actual market value and real market movement so you can protect your equity and move forward with confidence.
