Vancouver Island Transportation Options

by Jason Anson

Vancouver Island is a beautiful place to live, with plenty of transportation options to get around. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely drive down the island’s winding roads or a more vigorous bike ride, there are plenty of ways to get from point A to point B. Public transit on Vancouver Island is reliable and efficient, with buses running regularly between major cities and towns. For those who prefer to travel by car, there are many scenic routes to explore, as well as a number of ferry services that connect the island to mainland British Columbia. For those who like to get around on two wheels, Vancouver Island is a paradise. There are many dedicated bike lanes and trails that wind through the island’s forests and along its coastline. And, of course, there’s always the option of walking – perfect for taking in the island’s natural beauty at a leisurely pace.

Accurate Home Values. Proven Results.

Whether you are buying, selling or simply working out what your property is worth, the number matters more than the opinion. Market conditions on Vancouver Island shift by community and by month, and a value that was right in the spring may not hold by the fall.

I do not guess your home's value. I prove it, using actual market value and real market movement so you can protect your equity and move forward with confidence. Send me the address and I will show you the numbers.

You have reached the end of this article, but there is a great deal more to Vancouver Island than any one community. I have lived here for more than 30 years and watched these communities grow, shift and adapt. What I have learned is that most people choose the right house in the wrong community, and that the questions worth asking are practical ones about services, distance and what daily life actually requires. Keep working through the regions and communities at Living on Vancouver Island.
