Broomhill Real Estate Market

Up the hill from the village, and some of the district's better views.

Broomhill real estate market values sit above the village floor, on a hillside where elevation buys an outlook over the harbour and the strait.

Broomhill Real Estate Market Overview

Broomhill rises behind the village on the north side, a residential area of largely post war and later family housing on regular lots.

Its advantage is height. A good number of properties here look south over the harbour towards the strait and the Olympic Mountains, which the village floor does not.

Elevation is the local price signal. Properties with a clear outlook trade above those a street away without one, and the gap is wider than the distance suggests.

How To Read the MLS® Activity Feed

  • What it shows. Sold, available and pending, live as recorded.
  • Why it matters. A view and no view are different prices on adjacent streets. The listings are where that shows.
  • Ask yourself. What sold, and did it have the outlook?

Questions About These Numbers

Can these figures reach me?

Yes. Set it on any graph and choose how often.

What can you see from up here?

The better positioned properties look over the harbour to the strait and across to the Olympics.

Is it walkable to the village?

Downhill yes, and back up is a climb. Most residents drive, though the distance is short.

Is it good for families?

It is one of the more established family areas in the district, with schools and the village close by.

What Would Your House Sell For?

A neighbourhood figure cannot account for elevation and outlook. Recent nearby sales and your view are what decide it. I don't guess your home's value. I prove it using actual market value and real market movement so you can protect your equity and move forward with confidence.
